It’s a great time to play games together and make memories. In my family, we like to make a fun Halloween dinner, complete with green mashed potatoes, deviled egg eyeballs, and monster cupcakes. Then, a fun game to play while everyone enjoys their dinner is Halloween This or That.

What Is The This Or That Game?

The This or That game is commonly seen at Christmas, but is also super fun for Halloween. It’s almost like would you rather.

You have two different items that you have to choose between that are Halloween-themed. For example, you ask which one do you like more:

Trick or treating?
Dressing up scary or sweet?
Twix or Kit Kat?

It’s fun to see what everyone else chooses and why.

How To Play This Or That

There are a couple of different ways to play. First, download the fun game sheet.

Next, you can either print a copy for everyone to have, and each person circles their favorites on the list. Then you discuss everyone’s answers. The other option is to read the questions out loud. Then, go around in a circle with everyone in the group taking turns giving their input.

This or That is also a great thing to do as an opener to a party. Have guests fill it out when they get there, while they wait for other guests to arrive. Then, later in the party, the most popular answers can be revealed.
