Create a cute Valentine’s Day paper craft and Mother’s Day Craft for kids for someone special this Holiday season. It’s super easy with my free template.

Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day Craft

I love an easy craft that only needs paper, scissors, and glue. This craft is great to do with your kids on Valentine’s day, or earlier so they can give it to someone special for Valentine’s Day. You could also use this as a Mother’s Day craft. This also makes a great preschool or classroom craft.

I created an “I Love you to Pieces” template, or you can draw it yourself. You can download the template on the bottom of this post.

Here’s how we did it.

Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day Paper Craft for Kids

Supplies:

Template (download at the bottom of this post)
Paper or Tissue paper (any color of your choice)
Scissors
Glue

Instructions:

First prep by cutting the paper or tissue paper into squares. They don’t have to be perfect, just in small pieces. I did paper, but I think tissue paper would be fun because then you could scrunch it and make it look elevated.

Second, put glue all over the heart on the template.

Then stick the pieces of paper or tissue paper all over the heart in whichever pattern you like. Give it to someone you love or hang it up on the fridge.
